After Treatment
Following your CO2 laser treatment, you will have redness at your treatment site. After care instructions can include analgesics and application of an ointment to keep the skin moist. Your skin will be sensitive to ultra-violet light after the treatment; avoid direct sun exposure until it is fully healed. It is recommended that you always use sunscreen to avoid future sun damage.
There will be some swelling and redness that will subside typically in a week following the treatment. You may have mild pinkish color in the skin for a few weeks post-procedure.
