A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Vasko is dedicated to staying at the top of her field so she can bring you the best treatment possible. As the program director at Riverside Methodist Hospital for the plastic surgery residency program, she is committed to teaching our next generation of plastic surgeons. As a leader in her field, Dr. Vasko pioneered two advanced studies: a study evaluating liposuction methods as well as research focused on infection prevention protocol utilizing tissue expanders during breast reconstruction. She presented the results of the liposuction study to her peers at the 2012 ASAPS meeting (the premier aesthetic meeting in the world) in Vancouver, as well as the 2012 Ohio Valley Society of Plastic Surgeons meeting. She studied pain control after breast augmentation which was presented at the 2014 ASAPS meeting in San Francisco.
An Upper Arlington resident, Dr. Vasko is also a member of the Upper Arlington Women’s Club, which provides scholarships to students, as well as active supporter of The Boy Scouts of America. When she’s not at work she enjoys sewing, sailing, traveling reading and spending time with her husband, Mark, and twin sons. Dr. Vasko cherishes making your aesthetic and reconstructive dreams a reality.
