Recovery time can vary patient to patient depending on many factors, however, we tell our patients to schedule at least two full weeks of downtime after their surgery. During this time the patient will need to avoid any strenuous physical activity or heavy lifting that may impair proper healing of their incision. Patients can typically resume full exercise after 4-6 weeks of healing.
