Have you been searching for a way to get rid of that stubborn cellulite on your thighs and buttocks? Cellulite is very common among women, and there is nothing wrong with having some bumps and dimples on your body; it’s natural! But it can cause those who experience cellulite to feel less confident about their bodies. At CAPS, we believe our patients deserve to experience the power of living confidently. That’s why we are proud to be among the first practices in Ohio to offer a long-term cellulite reduction treatment called Avéli™!

What is The Avéli Cellulite Treatment?

Avéli is an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive treatment that provides long-term cellulite reduction on the thighs and buttocks. This treatment is meant for individuals, particularly women who are in good health and interested in improving their body contour while treating cellulite dimples. In a single, in-office procedure, we can deliver lasting results by addressing the primary structural cause of cellulite.

Cellulite is caused by bands of connective tissue that live beneath the skin’s surface. The connective tissue called septa pulls down the skin and builds tension, creating dimples. In order to effectively remove cellulite, the tension from these tissue bands must be released.

The Avéli Procedure

Before the procedure, your medical professional will administer anesthesia in the area being treated. Then the Avéli handheld device is inserted through multiple small incisions and carefully guided beneath the skin to locate and release the connective tissue bands that create cellulite dimples.

The Avéli device contains a light and a hook on the end of the tool. The light allows your medical provider to navigate beneath the skin’s surface to detect the septa. Once the septa are located, the hook latches on and the device releases the septa.

Both your thighs and buttocks can be treated during the same procedure. The total treatment time will vary but on average, Avéli treatments are completed in about 1-2 hours.

Why Is Avéli The Best Cellulite Treatment?

With so many cellulite treatment options available, it can be difficult to decide which one is right for you. While Avéli isn’t the first cellulite treatment, it is the first cellulite treatment that is safe, effective, and highly precise allowing medical professionals to only cut out the septa that are causing dimples, rather than removing the good septa with it. Other benefits of Avéli include:

  • One-time treatment: Unlike other cellulite treatments, Avéli does not require more than one session or continuous care.

  • Fit for all skin types: Since Avéli is a heat-free treatment, it does not create any issues with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) in darker skin.

  • Little to no downtime: Since Avéli is a minimally invasive treatment, patients don’t have to worry about a long recovery process.

Recovery And Results

Patients may experience moderate discomfort for a few days after the treatment as the local anesthesia wears off. While we recommend refraining from workouts or strenuous activities for the first few weeks, patients can resume their normal day-to-day activities almost immediately.

With such a precise procedure, your medical professional can actually see your cellulite fade during the treatment. Due to bruising and swelling from manipulating and releasing tissue beneath the skin, patients will be able to enjoy their full results about a month after the treatment. Avéli results are long-lasting, and patients will notice reduced cellulite dimples, smoother appearance, and improved confidence.
