CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared and backed by science, with over 60 clinical studies and reports published by leading doctors and researchers verifying its effectiveness.
How it Got Started
While studying at Harvard University, scientists Dieter Manstein, MD and R. Rox Anderson, MD observed an interesting phenomenon in children who ate popsicles. They found that the cold in these popsicles were eliminating small pockets of fat cells, causing dimples to form in their cheeks. The idea that cold could affect fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue was the basis for Cryolipolysis – the medical treatment used to destroy fat cells. The CoolSculpting procedure was born.
